Hello to every Oracle college out there in the relational world
My question is as follows:
Has anyone already had some experience with the mts server options under
oracle's v7.0.12 (or higher), such as:
- performance
- % increase in users with same configurations as under v6
- some matrix comparing v6 to v7 in terms of users/memory, sga sizing, etc
- configuration problems (if any)
- dba admin complexity
Also i would like some feedback on using the new options as:
- referential integrity vs sqlforms supplied triggers(re default generation)
- stored procedures, db triggers, 2 phase commit (ddb setups)
- security (roles), profiles
- sql*net v2 (against v1) performance in unix to unix links (tcp/ip)
- v6 to v7 migration in practice
Appreciate some feedback here, kind regards to you all,
