*Skip lines problem in Sql*Report*

I write all my reports using SQL*Report (ver 1.0) {I know, In know!} on Oracle 6.0.36 running on a Sun 670MP with 4.1.2.
Some of the customer address have things like
"Mailroom #S 19200" and the "rpf" command promptly spits
out 19200 lines after printing "Mailroom".
Is there a workaround for this. God know how many people enter
new leads into the system everyday and saying things like
"Make sure you don't have addresses of the form #S<space><number>"
arent't always effective.
Please send me your suggestions!
