SUB: QUALITY ASSURANCE COMPANION - Version 2.3 Release

Dear readers:

Genesys Automation Inc. announces the release of Quality Assurance Companion Version 2.3, thanks to the feedback and suggestions from our QA Companion user community. The latest version will be made available on all UNIX, DOS and VMS platforms, but the port on Data General, PRIME machines will soon follow.

QA Companion is a testing and tacking system, designed to automate the Testing, Implementation and Acceptance Phases of your ORACLE projects. It runs on SQL*Forms V3, SQL*Reportwriter on all ORACLE platforms.

Here is the summary of features:

• create unit, function, system and acceptance test suites using business equirements, functional specifications and detailed design documents
• capture keystrokes, create automatic test batch files and handle regression test cases
• record results, prioritize and report problems, track software problem processing even amidst SOFTWARE VESION CHANGES
• geneate reports for software problem processing, software readiness, development tacking and productivity tracking
• software testing monitoring screens and reports.
