We are about build a 16 Gbytes Oracle-database and would like to gather some info from other Oracle-users:

        Backup method experiences:

        o Method, off-line + archiving, on-line ... ?

o Hardware, what about backing 16GBytes in an 1-2 hour window ?

o Recovery, how long time does it take ?

        o Is EXPORT a possible complement ?

        Disk systems:

        o Is SCSI2 a bottleneck ?

	o	IBM 9333 serial discs (RS6000/AIX), experience,
			performance ?

o What about RAID level 0 and 1. How does striping improve
performance (we assume 1 GBytes discs)? Shadowing, any comments... ?

o Is RAID5 very bad for performance?
