Seattle University, with 5000 students on a quarter system, will be converting from an IBM 4381 DOS/VSE system running CICS and CINCOM's TOTAL database to a relational database/client-server environment (we do want to create as open an environment as possible). Given what you've learned about the database, networking software, and application development tools you selected (and education software, if applicable), and what you've learned about other products in the meantime ... if you could choose again? Another way of focusing responses - why not go with Oracle?
