I hope someone can help me with this.

I have a table with a LONG RAW column.   I'm trying to insert a row into this table with the LONG RAW  value being read into a buffer from a file (image, sound, whatever).

I've tried with normal SQL and couldnt make it work; I'm now trying  with dynamic SQL but the program hangs up on the OPEN statement and  when I ctrl-C it, out comes an error message that the manuals say  its not supposed to happen:

ORA-03111: break recieved on communication channel

Does anyone out there worked out how to insert LONG RAW values  into tables from Pro*C ? If so, HELP!!!!!! :-)

BTW, I'm using Oracle 6.0 in an IBM RS6000 (AIX).

 Thanx in advance.
