THE CONFERENCE: The Entity-Relationship (ER) approach is extensively used in many database and information system design methodologies and has become a de facto standard of most manual and automated design tools. The ER Conference has become the primary forum for researchers and practitioners in data Modeling. In line with its tradition, the 12-th ER conference will provide an international and inter-disciplinary forum in which researchers and practitioners can share novel research, tool developments and management experiences. The conference will consist of invited talks, paper presentations, tutorials, tool demonstrations and panel sessions. Conference proceedings will be published by ER Institute. Selected papers may be published in Data and Knowledge Engineering (North Holland).

TOPICS OF INTEREST: The topics of interest include but are not limited to:

   Conceptual Modeling
   Process Modeling
