well to not address your problem, but i do believe you should be running oracle 6.0.32 or higher for aix 3.2 or higher. i was specifically informed by oracle/unix kernel group to do this. also if you go to aix 6.2.3 you will need oracle 6.0.34 or higher. i'm at aix 6.2.3 and oracle 6.0.36
