We're involved in ensuring that RAID 7 disk array platforms really hum along in all possible Oracle and Informix data base applications, especially the big ones with HP, Sun, and SGI workstations. (I'm concentrating on these right now, and getting to RS/6000 a little later.) In this connection, I'd appreciate any comments, advice, or recommendations, especially research reports, regarding RAIDS and large Oracle and Informix databases.
