Long Raw

Dear netters,

It is said that the maximal length of long raw type in Oracle7 will be extended to 2 Mbytes, can anyone validate this info? Any information is welcomed.

Furthermore, our group is using the long raw type of Oracle6 to store images with unlimited length. Since the usage of the long raw type is not well documented, I would like to get in touch anyone who are interested in this topic.
