Display hint/help message per re/entry of a field in SQL*Forms

When the operator tab into a field in SQL*Forms, s/he has to press [Help] for the hint message to appear on the message line.

Can a message be displayed automatically? On-new-field-instance works if the field is new but not when the fields are re-cycled.
