Block Size of LOG_CHECKPOINT_INTERVAL

Oracle Database Administration Guide, V6.0, Revised October,1990, Section D-23, read:



LOG_CHECKPOINT_INTERVAL o/s dependent

The number of newly filled redo logs file block (units are operating system block, and not database blocks) ....

My search to find out what actually our block size is has gotten nowhere. We run Oracle V6.0.33 on SPARC SunOs 4.1.

If this can be any help: sqldba command "show parameters" shows: DB_BLOCK_SIZE = 2048 I appreciate any insight on this matter. Farzin
