VALIDATING DATA IMPORTED

Bill Thompson replied to an earlier message about validating ORACLE imports from flat files:

SQL*Loader puts bad records into a bad file, which is in the same format as the original data file. The erroneous records can be corrected, then reimported. The accompanying errors are detailed in an error file.
