As I mentioned to Orville, SQLPME ( Oracle's protected mode executive for DOS ) needs to have a VCPI compliant memory manager (if any) installed. However the DOS box of OS/2 provides DPMI compliant memory so the PME will not work.

However OS/2 2.0 is COMPLETELY supported. You need the 6.0.34.2.1 database (yes it is 32 bit) and the 6.0A tools for OS/2.
