I am installing Oracle on a Sun SLC workstation and have encountered some errors. I believe they might be memory related:
ranlib: warning: /usr/local/lib/oracle/rdbms/lib/libpls.a(plsima.o): no symbol t
able
ranlib: warning: /usr/local/lib/oracle/rdbms/lib/libpls.a(plsrtr.o): no symbol t
able
`osntab.o' is up to date.
`osntabst.o' is up to date.

This looks like it is complaining about the SGA? Perhaps the SGA is too big for a 16M machine? Has anyone had any experience in installing Oracle on a machine without a lot of memory? The other machines I've installed Oracle on have 90+ megs of memory....
PS: Does anyone know what the ranlib warnings are about?
