Corruption error in ORACLE 6.0.36.3

I've been waiting for a couple of weeks for an update to our version of 
ORACLE and the various tools we have.  I phoned support to find out why 
I hadn't heard anything of late and was told that the current production
verion (6.0.36.3) has been discovered to have a database corruption bug
in it and there is a hold on it.  A newer version of the database is said
to be ready for distribution within two weeks.



This is the kind of thing that I thought should be passed along to others
out there - if you're running 6.0.36.3 you might at least think about 
upgrading to whatever comes next just in case.
