Oracle shutdown on Sun/SunDBE for SS10

 Solaris 2.0 provides the System V shutdown script which can be  edited. However, as Jan Wortelboer mentioned, you'll probably  want to place a startup and shutdown script in /etc/rc?.d as this  is the desired way of doing things under Solaris 2.0. (No more rc.local  file)

 SunDBE 1.3 will ship in November for SunOS 4.1.3 (which supports the SS10)  If you are running a benchmark and would like to use SunDBE with 4.1.3,  your local SE should be able to get you a loaner copy.
