Take a look at ClearAccess and DataPrism.

DataPrism is copyright Brio Technology, I don't remember who makes ClearAccess, though. Both are real nice. Point and Click, cut and paste into other applications. DataPrism will work in conjunction with DataPivot, an OK report generator that specializes in Cross-Tab reports. Oracle is also supposed to be coming out with a DAL version of SQL*Net, so's any application that can use DAL will access Oracle.
