How many tablespaces is enough?

I have a database on a SCO/UNIX system that is as it was configured "out of the box". I still have the single SYSTEM tablespace that was created when I installed Oracle. My single tablespace is beginning to run out of space. I have been told you don't ever want your SYSTEM tablespace to fill up or your database will crash.

So I figure it is time to re-configure. I would like to just enlarge the size of my database and be done, but don't want to ever risk filling up the SYSETM tablespace, so I should probably split the stuff up. Now my problem. I am only dealing with a 30 megabyte database, I don't think it will grow to over 60 megabytes in the next year or so. What would be prudent for a tablespace setup? Is one for SYSTEM and one for USER enough?
