We are the University of Wyoming, located in Laramie, Wyoming. We are a school of approximately 12,219 students (both on and off-campus) and have a yearly budget of approximately $200 million. We are currently running an IBM series 9000 computer with Information Associates' Financial Records System
(FRS) in a 84.1 VSAM release. We are also running release 3 for IDMS from
Pinnacle for out Human Resourse System (HRS) and Student Information System
(SIS).
Our current plan is to move FRS to IDMS on the IBM. However, we would like to hear from other schools regarding which path they have taken for their financial computing requirements.

In addition to our IBM, we support an academic VAX/VMS and Unix systems, all with gateway potential to a Novell LAN. We are particularly interested in acquiring information about distributed PC-based FRS applications.
