Redo Log Seq# from datafile

Q. Does anyone know of a way of reading the Redo Log Sequence # stamp on an

    Oracle datafile?

I need to know the number so that I can estimate the number of Offline Redo Logs (Archivelog) and time to apply without going into SQL*DBA.
