Does anyone use Oracle on AIX 3.2? Yes of course. In that case, you may be able to help me.
We here at the University of Auckland plan to put AIX 3.2 on both our RS/6000 machines. We plan to have one instance per machine, but want to use NFS so that we only have one copy of the executables (SQL*Plus, SQL*Forms, CASE, etc), so as to facilitate systems administration, and make better use of disk space.
Has anyone tried this? If so, with what results? Any help you can offer me would be greatly appreciated.
