Oracle, CASE tools on SUN4

We plan to use an Oracle DBMS and tools in a mixed teaching/ research environment at the Section of Medical Informatics at the University of Amsterdam.

Our computing environment consists of several SUN4 SLC workstations connected to a SUN4 Sparc server II as our file server. On this hardware platform we plan to use Oracle DBMS and other products, in particular their CASE tools. I am interested in experiences of Oracle customers with those products. In particular, performance in such a workstation environment, and sophistication of integration of the tools in the SUN window environment (Openlook, X windows) are of interest to us.
