SQL*Net 1.2 only works with MacTCP 1.0 or 1.0.1. It does not work reliably with 1.0.2 or 1.1. Oracle supposedly shipped a SQL*Net Mac 1.5 last month, but I haven't got it yet. I believe it fixes the MacTCP problem.
