Hi all,
Here's the situation: We' re using Oracle 6.xx (as the server) on a Compaq 386/25/16MbReceived on Wed Feb 05 1992 - 18:30:42 CET
+ OS/2 1.21
+ Novell + Oracle 5.xx (for the network-clients)
The Oracle 6.xx is a dedicated server and manages only one database. Here's the problem: Nobody is able to logon to the database because Oracle has no more space left on the tablespace SYSTEM. Not even the DBA (that's me unfortunately). The audit_trail was set before the troubles began, but now I disabled it in the INIT.ORA file because this option writes every logon in certain tables in the System tablespace (which is now full). To add another file to the system tablespace I need to connect (logon) to de database which I can't, because... So I'm running in circles. I have tried the SET AUTHORIZATION command, but it doesn't work. Any ideas? They would be appreciated... Rutger van de Gevel Oracle DBA
