Granting permissions with SQL Developer

I've written several procedures and functions. Now I'm trying to use SQL Developer to grant execute permission. In our setup, these permissions are generally granted to a role. But the "Grant" dialog that appears in SQL Developer apparently shows only users. Is there a way to assign a permission to a role using this box? So I have to do it from the SQL window, or maybe from SQL Plus?
