[Quoted] We are using forms 10g and would like to be able to cancel a query. Just setting the module to non-blocking, pops up the Oracle Cancel Query pop-up, but when the user clicks on the cancel query button, it is breaking connection with the database, but leaving the form open. When the user clicks on the X to close the form they get "Your connection to the database has terminated. This application will now exit". Followed by FRM-40733: PL/SQL built-in DBMS_ERROR_CODE failed".

Is there a way in 10g to cancel a query and leave the form in a usable state so that the user can enter a new query and execute it?

My environment is:
Forms [32 Bit] Version 10.1.2.0.2 (Production) Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.7.0 - Production

     With the Partitioning option
     JServer Release 9.2.0.7.0 - Production
Oracle Toolkit Version 10.1.2.0.2 (Production) PL/SQL Version 10.1.0.4.2 (Production)
Oracle Procedure Builder V10.1.2.0.2 - Production Received on Fri Oct 19 2007 - 22:09:19 CEST
