I encountered the same difficulties when starting with iStore. the Documentation is more limited however there are some things out there.

At first you can refer to metalink were you will be able to find quite some information and you can take a look at
http://www.huihoo.com/oracle/docs/B25516_06/current/html/doclist.html and check the istore section.
