Upgrade to 10g, now Crystal Reports 8.5 not seeing all tables

We use PL/SQL Developer for query testing when creating reports. The ERP product allows us to integrate the Crystal Reports within their interface. Unfortunately, they only support CR 8.5.
Since the upgrade we have run into a few problems where CR 8.5 is not seeing all tables. We have tried installing the 10g client and the 8i client. With either Oracle client, we can see all tables in PL/SQL Developer. With either client, we cannot see all tables in CR.
I've done some poking around the web, but I have not found anything on this. It could be that I missed it because Google and Google Groups searches on Oracle 10g, Crystal Reports 8.5 and table problem (or other variations) either return a few hits that don't help or return a ton of non-specific hits.
