While a row is being locked by another process, Oracle forms will pop up "Could not reserve record (2 tries)" message. I tried to customize this message by:
In ON-LOCK trigger,
select the same row for update nowait; if record being locked (oracle error code 54), display the customised message.
However, oracle forms displayed the customized message twice rather than once!!
Does anyone know the reason why? and how to bypass it?
