Using Perl with Oracle 10G on Windows

I tried to use the windows gui tool to assign the files of type *.pl to the perl program in:
#D:\oracle\product\10.1.0\Db_1\perl\5.6.1\bin\MSWin32-x86\perl.exe For some reason unknown to me, I click on a file named test.pl, I browse for the program to open it with, go to the perl.exe, click on Open, but when I get back to the window that is supposed to create the file association, the perl file doesn't show up.

ByTheWay, I know windows sux, so spare me the lectures on that topic, please.
