bad temp file name for Forms 9.0.4 'Run Form' launch file:

i'm in the process of researching this but haven't found anything yet...

has anyone run into (and hopefully resolved) the problem of Forms 9.0.4 generating 'launch file' with a bad extension

there seems to be some sort of file versioning going on, and i'm not sure if its XP-SP2 doing it or Forms 9.0.4 ('10g' as they say)

the first time Run Form is selected, the a 'launch file' with a name like
'C:\Documents and Settings\mcs\Local Settings\Temp\s5s4.htm'
is generated, which contains an HTML form with hidden fields for the Oracle Forms form name parametes, and the f90servlet URL as its action.

on subsequent 'Run Form' calls, the file extension gets corrupted with a version number, such as:
'C:\Documents and Settings\mcs\Local Settings\Temp\s5s4.1htm'
which causes the browswer to display the HTML rather, assuming it is processing a plain text file

browswer in ie 6.0

any ideas or known work-arounds out there?
