Hi all,

Question about the FNDLOAD, a data migration tool that gets delivered with Oracle Applications.

The FNDLOAD tool works by creating control files in which you specify what the data looks like and what the methods are to up or download the data.

With the types you can specify that a certain item needs to be translated (TRANS keyword). When does this translation take place and what does oracle exactly means with it? Does it translate the attribute from one type to another? Does it translate the item from one language to another? Does it do something else?

Maybe someone in this group knows?

Also is there any document available in which all the command line switches are described? So like the PARTIAL_LOAD parameter. I've looked on metalink but no luck so far.
