[Quoted] Did You create the 2 blocks with the Data Block Wizard (well, I do not recall if it was available in 4.5) ?
At least from 5 and higher on, the Wizard did the things fro You, and the only thing to check for
is the proper mapping of the relationship of the database to the blocks. One may be unhappy
with wizards, but they are always the best first step to my view.

Maybe You could show us the tables, the FK and also and some example data from the database,
using Sql*plus ? In the end, it could also be the data ...
