I'd check with Oracle's support group. Open a TAR & ask the question for the specific mix you are looking to implement. This way you have their agreement documented, or find out about any specific glitches.
If the apps DB and the apps middle tier OSs are independantly certified for different OSs, you should have no hesitation to mix away. Not apps, but I have run Oracle's Collab Suite - database on Linux & Mid Tier on W2K Received on Sat Aug 02 2003 - 18:36:48 CEST
