Hi thumor,

hmmmm... ok, its the same code and it works elsewhere.. are you sure it fails exactly with the connect? have you put a printf directly before and after? or ran under gdb to prove?

I would say then if it is definitely the connect line then have a look at the generated C file and see if there is anything strange. I have once seen where there was a bug in the pre-compiler where it failed to correctly add the embedded SQL to the C file - doubt it though.

OK, have you checked to ensure you have only one Oracle library on your system and that you have linked to the right one?
