Is your application performing lot of Sorts ??? If yes ..check your queries and try creating proper indexes.
Is your temporary tablespace really temporary ..I mean you would given a permanant space to your temporary tablespace by mistake. You can check the contents of the tablespace from DBA_TABLESPACES view.
