Jdeveloper and J2SDK1.4

Hi,
I am not an advanced jdev user so maybe the answer is obvious but not for me.
Jdev9i fully supports jdk1.3 but how to use it to create application with j2sdk1.4. Is there any way to configure it to support 1.4. I've tried to add new libraries but it always compiles classes using build-in jdk1.3. How should I set up project settings? Is it, in genral, possible or should I wait for the next version.
