pro*C & Oracle version for redHat 8?

Hi,
Can anyone please help me with any experiences with Oracle for Linux(redHat 8.0), preferably good ones.
I want to buy a cd pack for trial from Oracle but am not sure which is the best combination.
I especially need it to run pro*C. So if anyone can tell me which version of Oracle they have got successfully to run on Linux redHat 8 with pro*C I will be gratefull.
