Dear Group,
Hi.
I am using the following software:
Oracle8i Enterprise Edition Release 8.1.7.4.1
Oracle Forms [32 Bit] Version 6.0.8.18.3
I was experimenting with cursor variables, and read in a book that they improve performance. I know that they usually reside in the database, but I created a ref cursor inside a "Post-Query" trigger just to see what happens.
Do you know if the execution speed of a regular cursor, and a ref cursor inside a form execute at the same speed for the same query?
Thank you in advance.
Truly,
Richard
