9i forms and linux - need plugin

I have installed 9iforms devloper on linux and 9i database. I created a simple form (one table). After getting the http listener problem/oc4j worked out, when I run the form thru the developer tool it opens the netscape browser but give me an error - it needs a plugin: "x-java-applet; jpi-version 1.3.1_02". when I got to download and install per the instructions for linux I still get the error. Any ideas?
