Back up a step. You are getting no return set, so there is nothing for NVL to evaluate.

Trap the condition in PLSQL using your standard error trapping, and there set the value to 0. This is the simplistic solution. There may be one more elaborate. Received on Thu Feb 27 2003 - 21:33:39 CET
