Looking for Configuration Management Tools for Oracle Portal

We develop applications using Oracle Portal and need to handle versions in the software lifecycle. While I have worked with Version Manager from Merant with earlier versions of Oracle, I can't seem to get an answer from Merant on whether or not they have something that will do the job... people out of office, e-mail problems, can't forward me to the right person.
