LONGRAW actual data size

[Quoted] I need to determine the amount of buffer space to allocate for LONG/LONGRAW [Quoted] columns using the OCI7 interface. From what I can tell, the actual size of [Quoted] [Quoted] the data in LONGRAW columns are unknown until a fetch statement is executed. [Quoted] Is there a way to obtain the actual size of LONGRAW data then allocate and [Quoted] bind the buffer prior to a fetch?
