Hi all,

I try to perform an import on my Win2000 sp3 PC. The database is 8.1.7.0.0. on Windows NT 4 sp6 server, The import version is also 8.1.7.0.0. (from the Designer 6i release 4 CD). Connecting to the database from that particular client is no problem. But as soon as I enter the IMP command (regardless of what parameters I use, and whether or not I enter username, password and connectstring or not), I get the message:

IMP-00058:
IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccesfully

Exactly as shown above, without any other Oracle errorcode or message. One exception: IMP Help=Y shows the help-information.

[Quoted] Anyone have an idea? I already found something about ORA_NLS33 pointing at the wrong directory. I checked the registry, but this doesn't seem to be the case, and when I remove this key it still doesn't work. I can't find the proper information to solve this problem on Metalink or Orafaq. So any help would be greatly appreciated.
