Hi
After running StatsPack for a period of 66.90 minutes, just over an hour the Top 5 Wait Events are as follows:
Top 5 Wait Events
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wait % Total Event Waits Time (cs) Wt Time ---------------------------------------- --------- --------- ------ slave wait 66935 1889359 61.0 PL/SQL lock timer 1410 722597 23.3 db file sequential read 410826 165180 5.34 db file scattered read 184919 78590 2.54 io done 51331 75084 2.43
Wait Events for DB: ORA Instance: ora Snaps: 5271 - 5281
->cs - centisecond - 100th of a second
->ms - millisecond - 1000th of a second (unit often used for disk IO
timings)
I was wondering if these results are across all of our 6 processors on our server machine?
e.g If the stats have been taken over a 1 hour period and we have 6 procssors can each statistic potentiallly represent 6 * 1hour?
Many Thanks
