ANNOUNCE: Version *1.2* of DBA Companion for Oracle

[Quoted] DBAComp(anion) is a database administration tool for Oracle databases. It allows you to browse the Oracle data dictionary in a graphical way.

Main features:

  • Browse data dictionary and drill down from one information to related ones.
  • Generate SQL scripts based on data dictionary information.
  • Completely customise all SQL used by DBAComp.

DBAComp is based on the Qt graphical library and is written in C++. It is an open source product developed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). It can be used for Oracle7 or higher.

New features in version 1.2: Many new screens to visualize Oracle data dictionary
information, many new SQL script generations to simplify daily DBA tasks, support
for Oracle9i (rel 1 and 2) and bug fixes.

release notes. You can get the source code and compile it on any platform or you
can download binary versions for Linux, Windows, Solaris, HP-UX and Reliant Unix.
