EXEC IAF GET Parameter corruption

The problem is we are getting corrupted data returned when issuing an EXEC IAF GET or EXEC TOOLS GET from either a linked in Cobol or C user exit. Specifcally relating to numeric fields but not necessarily all numeric fields. The problem only arises on multiple field GET's and not on single field GET's.

We are running
Solaris 8
Forms 4.5
Compiling and running against 7.3.4
Connecting to an Oracle 8 server
The problem above does not happen when running under Dynix/ptx !
Has anyone come accross this type of problem before, if so what was your solution or work around ?
