If you are interested in running Forms, there is a quick way to install OC4J without the mess of configuring 9iAS. Download the standalone at

http://otn.oracle.com/software/products/ias/htdocs/utilsoft.html

  • NOTE: OC4J Standalone is purely for standalone purposes.

With jdk installed, launch OC4J with

java -jar /usr/java/oc4j/j2ee/home/oc4j.jar Received on Fri Nov 08 2002 - 12:44:40 CET
