Re: Oracle 7.3.3 client with 8.1.7 database

Oracle 7.3 client will be able to connect to the 8.1.7 database. But you won't be able to take advantage of any new 8i functionality. You should upgrade to Dev 6i and 8i client.

Of course, it goes without saying that you should thoroughly test this *before* you do this on a production database!!!
